Downtown Travels

Heading into the CBD of Vancouver is a rather picturesque journey via public transport. We walk a few minutes from home to meet the 29 bus, catch this to 29th Avenue Station, then jump onto the next skytrain heading for Waterfront Station.

Enjoying our current state of holidaying/unemployment, we've made it a ritual to grab brunch somewhere in downtown (often along Granville St) after a morning bouldering session at our new climbing gym. On this occasion it was sunny, so we seized the opportunity to take a few snaps of our travels to and from the city.

Can I take a moment to reiterate just how pretty our little suburb is?! Even when it is raining and making us feel cold and uninspired, the ambience is beautiful. The nature around us is so vibrant and healthy from all the rain, it is utterly divine. Everywhere we turn is another picture-perfect scene. It's like something from a movie, only way better. Lucky us!
