Two Months

Just a quick post to mention the fact that we are only two months out from our move to Canada! We very much feel like we're in a limbo stage at the moment - we've organised everything we can and we're playing the waiting game until it's close enough to start sorting out (i.e. discarding of) our household products/clothing/belongings, leaving our jobs and saying farewell to family.

It's Christmas time and so a very busy time of the year for social events and the like. We've been busy with work Christmas parties, birthday celebrations and in a couple of weeks we'll do the big catch up with family members for Christmas. For a lot of our extended families, this will be the final farewell before we go.

Although two months still feels like a considerable chunk of time, with Christmas and New Year, this period is going to fly by. Come January 12th, work for me will be starting to get quite busy (with back to school/ballet), so I already know the last month is going to disappear before my very eyes!

I know we should probably start tackling some of our belongings at some point, but it feels kinda silly to start culling now. Plus we still need a lot of our stuff. I want to do a big wardrobe cull but if I start too soon, I won't have any clothes to wear to work! Ah such dilemma. Much overwhelm. (Not really. God I can be dramatic.)

Anywho, it's terribly exciting just how real it's becoming! In two months, we'll be boarding our flight and landing in a new world of potential and adventure!
