Vivian St & Killarney Park

Spring is here! These photos were taken down our street and at our nearby park (a block away from home), just as the cherry blossoms began to fall. The flowers had quickly covered the streets here, the pathways lined with pink petals. It is a beautiful time of year; we still have plenty of wet, overcast days, however the sunny days are beginning to outweigh the gloomy ones. It seems all that rainy weather was for the greater good - our surroundings are beaming with energy! I am now beginning to understand why spring has a reputation for being so delightful (I suppose because Queensland's transition from winter to spring is so subtle thanks to the rather mild climate variation haha). Nature has woken from it's winter slumber and has come out to play!
