Las Vegas - Part 2

Christmas Day in Vegas - certainly one of the more unique and memorable experiences we’ll have! With an extra special dinner booked well in advance, we spent the daytime exploring the strip as a group. There’s a spectacle on every corner here, and homages paid to the most iconic brands and locations. M&Ms, Hersheys, Coca Cola. New York City, Paris, Venice. Roller coasters, pyramids, volcanos. You name it, Vegas probably has it.

Hours of exploring later and we arrived at the shimmering Mandalay Bay. There was some excitement around the aquarium at the resort, so we went searching for said location. We wound up walking the same path 3 times before finally locating it.. only to be greeted with an excessive queue to enter. The last photo in this post is the beautiful path we walked many times in search of the aquarium! Exhausted but amused, we had lunch in the food court before weaving back through the expansive hotel.

After an adventurous Christmas day on the strip, we parted ways for the afternoon to freshen up before regrouping for dinner… one of the most luscious Christmas dinner’s we will likely ever have!
