Tofino had been on our list for some time. It was a top contender for potential wedding destination too! After a busy start to the year, we put aside some time in May to visit the iconic beach destination. We’d been hoping for warm weather (it had been so long since we’d walked barefoot on sand). Unfortunately it was very cold for our visit.. but it wasn’t raining so it could have been worse ;)

We learned a lot from this vacation. We now have a better idea on how we’d like our wedding to look, and how much travel time is acceptable in a single day lol. For us, the highlight of the holiday was Pettinger Point - a hidden lookout between two beaches. The spectacular drive across the island on our last day was also really special.
