Harrison Hot Springs

Some of our favourite travel memories are those shared with family. With L & M now in Canada, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to add a new travel adventure to that list. After aligning on dates and scope, we settled on Harrison Hot Springs as the destination. A quaint, sleepy town on the edge of Harrison Lake (a huge body of water that stretches for 60km).

Day 1

A cruisy drive to Harrison Hot Springs, stopping at Mission for coffee and a nearby golf course for late lunch. Once in town, we walked along the waterfront to take in the sights. We ordered pizza for dinner and while we waited, wandered through cozy stores full of knick-knacks and souvenirs.

Day 2

We started the day with an absolute feast of a breakfast. With full bellies, we spent the next couple of hours walking around Green Point of Sasquatch Provincial Park. We spent the afternoon in town, checking out the source of the hot spring, followed by dinner at Black Forest schnitzel house.

Day 3

Our departure day from Harrison began with another mammoth brunch. We swung by the town centre one final time to grab coffees and say our goodbyes to that picturesque view. And just like that, L & M were onto their next adventure - a week-long stay in Mission (in a quirky, magician-themed apartment).
