Summer 2025
It was a busy summer for us this year! Whilst entering the second trimester and sharing the news with our family, we were also busy buying our first home! After years of being on the rental rollercoaster (aka having to move twice because owners wanted to sell - see here and here), we were finally in a decent place to take the leap into home ownership.
We spent a few weeks viewing different apartments but we had our hearts set on a specific location from the get-go. We found the apartment (2 bedroom + den) but took an extra weekend to rule out any other options. We made the final decision to put an offer in over lunch at Earls :) From initial inquiry to collecting the keys, the buying process was done within a couple of months. And within the next couple of months, we’ll be welcoming a new family here too!
